Vivian’s work grew out of her own experience with scoliosis. After being told that her spinal curves would continue to worsen with age and that there was little she could do beyond “wait and see,” she set out to understand what else might be possible. She went on to complete an MSc in Physical Therapy in Musculoskeletal Healthcare & Rehabilitation and created SCOLIOFITNESS, her own methodology bridging the gap between physical therapy and fitness for people with scoliosis. Today, her work brings together movement, strength, applied neurology and mind-body practices to explore how the brain, nervous system, bones and body work together.

Approach

Vivian takes an integrative approach to the body, looking beyond muscles and joints to explore how the brain, nervous system and mind-body connection can influence the way we move and feel. Her work considers how stress, subconscious patterns and emotional experiences can sometimes show up physically through things like tension, pain or movement patterns. She combines strength and movement training with applied neurology and mind-body practices to help people better understand their bodies, build confidence in movement and feel stronger for the long term.

Who They're Great For

The girl who feels like her body is starting to dictate what she can and can't do. Especially if you're navigating scoliosis, recurring back pain or tension, changes in the way your body moves, or simply want to build a stronger, more resilient body for the long term.
